This is a great time to think about gifts for college grads. Hopefully, the grads you know will find jobs, get apartments, build their lives. You can help start them off by giving them a membership to my ASJ Art Club.

They can use the club membership to create the home decor environments they want to live in–personalize the creative look of the living room, kitchen, or any room in the house, using artwork they’ll enjoy.

“Reading A Good Blog Post Today”

Posted: 23rd May 2010 by Alberta Smith-Johnson in Blog

I love sundays.

I usually relax, read the paper, catch up on political news, phone up a friend or family member……..

Think about new art ideas…….

Anyway………I was reading through my sunday net emails and found one that mentioned the following older blog post from March 2010:

www.viperchill.com/probably-never-read

It’s about what it might actually take to be a successful blogger today.

Very interesting…….

Posted: 11th April 2010 by Alberta Smith-Johnson in Blog

Sitting here reading the sunday paper.

Saw that Old Masters Sculptor Alberto Giacometti’s sculpture entitled “Walking Man” recently sold for over $104 million. When I was a college student at the Art Institute of Chicago (back in the day ;-) , I loved walking over to see that sculpture.  It was one of my favorites there.
